Hangsen iQ Touch Review: For High Nicotine Vapers
Before it was even Launched in UK we got our hands on iQ Touch – the newest refillable pod kit from a well-known manufacturer Hangsen. We are very happy to be the first ones to review this device.
Hangsen’s iQ range started with prefilled pod kit iQ Air, followed by a refillable iQ One kit. We already reviewed the iQ Air pod kit which you should read if you are after a prefilled pod device. iQ One was a nice but very heavy and bulky device which although was performing well, it had one big problem – it was leaking because of the bottom fit coil that has an airflow regulation. Although iQ One Pro was released recently as well, the problem persists, and even a good performance and vapour and flavour production don’t compensate the fact that it is leaking. But what about the new iQ Touch?
Hangsen iQ Touch Pod Kit is a compact and stylish vaping pod system a slender body. It is powered with a built-in 450 mAh battery which although is not massive is enough for a sleek pod device. Unlike iQ One where you had to change the coils on your pod that way getting your hands messy – iQ one uses 2ml disposable refillable pods. Being a draw-activated device iQ Touch makes it super easy to use even for a complete vaping beginner. Let’s see it all in more details.

iQ Touch is packed into a neat rectangular box and contain everything you need to start vaping. What we love about Hangsen, they always pack their devices reasonably. By saying that we mean there is nothing fancy about the packaging (some manufacturers really go beyond common sense when packing the product). The packaging is good but simple, that way keeping the product price lower. Here’s what the kit contains:

The Look and Feel of the iQ Touch
When it comes to the look of iQ Touch, there is nothing extraordinary about it. It looks nice, simple but at the same time very stylish. There are no unnecessary design details. The super lightweight slender aluminium body makes it sit in the hand very comfortably. There is a touch button at the front (that’s where the name comes from) and a rectangular beautifully designed LED indicator to know the charging level. The magnetic pod makes installation very easy and sits tight. There are is no rattling, no unwanted parts or design features. This time Hangsen did very well in designing and building a quality device.
Hangsen iQ Touch Battery Life
As mentioned earlier, Hangsen iQ Touch has a built-in 450 mAh battery. Although it is not big, iQ Touch doesn’t have the sub-ohm capability and is rather designed for high nicotine users, therefore the 450 mAh battery capacity is more than enough for a full day vaping if you are an average vaper and not a chain vaper. It is charged via the Type-C USB charger which we find very convenient as more end more devices now use this type of charging port and makes it very convenient to charge without having to swap your charging cables.
Using the iQ Touch
Using iQ Touch is easy as 1, 2, 3. As already mentioned, it is a draw activated device, meaning there are no buttons that you would need to press and hold in order to vape. That is perfect for those wanting to mimic a real cigarette experience.
Touching the button 5 times turns the device on and off. Touching it 3 times lets you choose between 3 power modes (8W, 9W, Full Power).
Filling the pod is a very easy and clean job. All you need to do is remove the cap, fit the nozzle of your favourite High VG liquid through a small hole and fill it up. The pod cartridge features 2ml capacity, built-in 1.2ohm organic cotton coil is designed for liquids with high nicotine content to bring you better flavour and huge vapour.
After each puff, indicator light stays on for few moments indicating the charge level remaining and then will fade out. If you take 9 puffs in quick succession, the iQ Touch will buzz twice and the LED light will light up to remind you to take a small break. How brilliant is that?
As iQ one is designed to be used with high nicotine e-liquids, we used VSAVI Platinum 1.8% nicotine e-liquid while testing. And to be true, we were impressed with the performance, flavour, nicotine hit and vapour. It has that pleasant tight draw as if you were smoking a real cigarette.

- We found only one – removing the cap from off the pod can sometimes be challenging, especially if your hands ae a bit sweaty.
Last Word on the Hangsen iQ Touch
To sum up, iQ Touch is a superior device. Hangsen did a great job designing and building this little refillable pod kit. It is easy to use, delivers great flavour and vapour when using a good quality e-liquid (we recommend using VSAVI Platinum e-liquid). In addition to that it is designed well, super slim and stealthy. Would we recommend iQ Touch? Definitely. Could it be the all day vape device? Sure.
So if you are a high nicotine vaper and after a refillable pod device – iQ Touch could become your best friend.
