Uwell Caliburn Tenet Review
Uwell is a brand all e-cigarette enthusiasts recognise, as they’re one of the defining manufacturers for simple-to-use pod kits and excellent coil technology that produce tons of flavour. One of their latest kits is the Uwell Caliburn Tenet and perhaps one of the most stylish examples yet. In this review, we will look at the specifications of the device, how it compares to others in the series and whether it’s worth an investment for vapers of various levels.

The Look and Feel of the Uwell Caliburn Tenet
Well, the designers of Uwell and in particular the Caliburn Tenet have clearly watched the Batman trilogy of epic films by director Christopher Nolan because the latest device is giving a major steampunk vibe that matches the rugged exterior of the batmobile in that film series!
It’s easy to grip and hold because of all the tough edges and it’s available in different colour schemes to suit your personal needs. But overall, it’s one of the coolest vape kits we have seen and gets plenty of points for the design alone. As far as a pod kit goes, it looks as sturdy and tough as the Geekvape Aegis series of pods and mods, but more stylish in our opinion!
In addition, it uses the same comfortable curved mouthpiece as the Caliburn G series, even though it’s got a brand-new theme for this device and maybe moving away from the over-arching Caliburn series (despite keeping the name).
How is the Battery Life?
Slightly longer than previous pods from the Uwell Caliburn A series, this may be because it holds a bigger battery at 750mAh compared to 550mAh as standard with the Caliburn A2 and A3 pod kits. It’s more than enough for mouth to lung vaping throughout the day and charges relatively quick too (around one hour minimum for a full charge). Although there are some pod kits we have reviewed in the past with even larger battery capacities, so it depends on what you value most!
Using the Tenet – Easy or Difficult?
Like most pod kits, it’s really easy to use the Caliburn Tenet. You have the now classic top fill method that is preferred by vapers to not just top up the e-liquids effectively but prevent leaks. Simply snap off the mouthpiece and add the dropper into the e-liquid port.
You can adjust the airflow easily too by rotating the airflow wheel to find the perfect throat hit. There is even a vape juice window to see how much liquid is left in your pod, so you know when to top up. Little things like that help the beginner to transition from smoking to vaping!
In terms of coils, you have three options, including 0.8 Ohm, 1.0 Ohm and 1.2 Ohm. And for safety there is the handy locking feature to keep your vape secure in your pocket or bag.
To inhale, you have the choice of auto-draw or via the fire button, which produce the same consistency and flavour regardless of which you pick.
Uwell Caliburn Tenet Pros
- Rugged design
- Different coil resistances allow MTL and RDL vape
- Decent battery capacity, upgrade on Caliburn A series
- Useful e-liquid window
- Adjustable airflow
- Generous 750 mAh battery capacity
Uwell Caliburn Tenet Cons
- Ideal for small amounts of vapour but 16W maximum limits cloud potential, regardless of the coil
Verdict
Vapers want a mouth to lung vape kit that can replicate the pattern of smoking and provide a similar throat hit. They seek a rugged device that looks stylish and easy to hold and maintain. Uwell have produced many Caliburn’s in the past but in terms of practicality and design, it’s perhaps their boldest yet with the Caliburn Tenet. If you prefer to vape larger clouds of vapour or want less nicotine and more of a sweetness, this isn’t the kit for you. However, if you want to go down the route of nic salt e-liquids or high PG with a small amount of cloud and a decent throat hit, the Tenet is the perfect little compact vape to try.
